Tikiman Live w/ Scion

Tikiman is Paul St. Hilaire, a Berlin-based vocalist and producer originally from Dominica, widely recognised for his deep, resonant delivery rooted in reggae and dub traditions. He is best known for shaping the spiritual and vocal identity of dub techno through his work with Rhythm & Sound and the wider Basic Channel circle. Scion – composed of René Löwe (aka Vainqueur) and Peter Kuschnereit (aka Substance or DJ Pete) – have been a central force in Berlin techno since the mid-1990s, first appearing on Chain Reaction with ‘Emerge’ and later reworking Basic Channel material for Tresor. When these artists join forces, the resulting experience is dub techno at full weight: slow-burning, physical, and built for the system.
