You’ve never encountered an artist quite like Sepehr. Tuned into the Middle Eastern underground and based in Berlin, the Iranian-American live act, DJ, and sonic maverick rejects convention and shatters essentialism at every turn. As the founder of Shaytoon Records, he champions diaspora sounds that resist tokenism, encouraging artists to embrace contradiction, risk, and range. His own output carries a pariah energy, dissolving and reassembling dancefloor forms into strange, potent hybrids – acid, dub, techno, electro, EBM, and beyond. In 2024, Sepehr made his debut on the Dekmantel label with Genesis Domain: a symphonic, metaphysical EP exploring imagined states where reality can be continually rewritten. After last year’s unforgettable Radar stage performance, his return promises even deeper immersion into his vividly warped sound world.
