Interweaving influences from techno, ambient, and industrial into his own unique sonic vision, Rrose is the alter ego of American artist Seth Horovitz. An interdisciplinary DJ/composer/multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire, Rrose is inspired by microtonality and the limits of perception, creating strains of electronic music that are highly detailed, sensual, and spellbinding. Active in the club and avant-garde scenes since the early 1990s, the Rrose moniker was born in 2010 when Horovitz started collaborating with composer Bob Ostertag and his Buchla 200E synthesizer.
