Operating under numerous aliases, Steve Rachmad boasts a vast sonic repertoire, yet as Sterac, he gravitates toward a dark, no-nonsense sound—his mixes often revisiting and re-telling the story of the mid-1990s rave scene in which he played a pivotal role. Meanwhile, ROD, the moniker of Benny Rodrigues, serves as a vehicle for exploring techno in all its shapes and forms. Renowned for his RODnacht events in Rotterdam, he effortlessly commands the decks, playing out marathon sets that stretch beyond eight hours, holding the dancefloor captive until the very last beat.
