LSD Live (Luke Slater & Steve Bicknell & Function)

In 2016, Luke Slater (aka Planetary Assault Systems, aka L.B. Dub Corp), Steve Bicknell, and Function (one half of Sandwell District) performed together for the first time at Berghain, Berlin. Joining forces for an ongoing project, the three artists – techno titans and innovators in their own right – collectively explore techno’s hallucinatory side while highlighting the interplay of their individual sound signatures. Fittingly, their first EP was titled ‘Process’, emphasising the potential of the sonic journey rather than the destination. Festivalgoers who’ve been with us for a while may recall LSD performing live at UFO in 2018. This summer, the masters of machine music return as they celebrate their 10th anniversary together.
